Ingredients:  
Wheat Flour, Sugar, Canola Oil, Raising Agents (450, 500, 341, 339), Wheat Starch, Natural Vanilla Flavour.

Contains: Wheat and Gluten.

Preparations: Before you start, please prepare the following:

  • Woolworths Essentials Vanilla Cake Mix 340g
  • 2/3 cup (160mL) Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 60g (3 tablespoons) Unsalted Soft Butter 

How to Cook: 

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180°C conventional /160°C fan forced. Lightly grease and line a 20cm x 7cm deep round cake pan. 
  2. Empty cake mix into a bowl. 
  3. Add milk, eggs and butter and beat with electric mixer on medium for 3 minutes until thoroughly combined. 
  4. Pour into pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked when a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. 
  5. Stand for 5 minutes in the pan before inverting onto a rack to cool. 

Chef's Tip: For a quick icing, mix ¾ cup sifted icing sugar, 1 tablespoon milk, 3 tablespoons unsalted soft butter and vanilla essence to taste.

Contraindications and cautions:

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • Once opened, store in an airtight container 
  • Do not use if pack is damaged.
